"It's a Thursday night. Aston Villa are live on Channel Five and the soaps are in full swing, so we expected a quiet night when we visited Titash, a long-serving curry house on the Coventry road. How wrong were we... the place was packed out!

The modern surroundings had certainly 'spiced up' the interior so all that was left to impress was a good traditional curry.
My companion Louise lapped up her chicken curry, but I fancied something different and opted for the Titash Special after the waiter assured me that I wouldn't regret my choice.
Chicken, meat and prawns were cooked in a traditional style and prepared in a rich sauce of onion, garlic, herbs, flavour, and great value for money at just £5.95
The only thing that upset me was handing back the dish with food remaining. I knew ordering a naan bread and chips on top was greedy...
